JeralMy biggest concern with David’s article is the use of “My” before each goal. As a Worship Leader or Pastor, it is not about “My” goals and agendas. It is all about what God’s purpose is for me as a Worship Leader. What I do as a Worship Leader, as well as the other Worship Leaders in our church, is decided on after prayer and a lot of time spent with the Lord, and in communication with our Lead Pastor.

David SantistevanJeral, I absolutely don’t disagree with you. That is essential. My use of the word “my” is to help us take action. Responsibility needs to be taken. Sure, we need to hear from God and connect with our senior pastor. But we also need to take action. Making it personal helps me. Does that make sense?
Thanks for the comment!
