Rafael G. PadronHello,
I think it is wrong to give away cars, a house or money to people for intending to satisfy their despair, disappointment, inside-sorrow. The material and the spiritual are two different approaches or domains.
Instead, Church should teach and promote the Prayer.
There’s a time in life for many when the gold loses its brightness and the sorrow and pain tops the soul. At this moment the soul is ill and the mind begins to set body for diseases and problems.
Only when we are in peace and in justice with GOD, with ourselves and with others, we begin to see and understand GOD, LOVE, PEACE, FORGIVENESS, PRAYER, CHURCH AND JUSTICE.
Are we really looking for GOD or simply, feeling better in this world no mattering OUR CREATOR and then aligning to go to hell? Who are we?
How spiritual love to GOD do we have (Faith)?
How materials are we?
Who are we? What do we deserve?

KarenI dont find it at all distasteful or unscriptural to offer MOTIVATION to entice people who do not regularly attend services to go to church. We all love to quote the story of David and Goliath and we all make David a hero of the faith and BIBLE…as he was, yet we forget that he only went after and killed Goliath after finding out what he would get for the feat. Read 1 Samuel 17 …David got his MOTIVATION to take out the enemy from hearing of the REWARD…and he actually asked 2x to clarify exactly what that reward would be…1 of Saul’s daughters in marriage and TAX EXEMPT FOR LIFE.
Obviously God takes no issue with offering incentives and motivation to get people into places where they belong..where they can connect with their destiny.
I am sure many came for the stuff…but if only 1 came and got JESUS…whos to complain?
