How to Recover from a Toxic Church and Bounce Back Even Better

If you’re experiencing a poisonous environment, first determine if God wants you to stay or go. While you work through motives and guard against overreacting, rely on God’s strength, not your feelings. Make healing a priority through rest and asking for help. With time and care, you can bounce back, gain clarity, and continue shepherding well. Don’t let toxicity keep you down or stop the kingdom’s work. There is hope for reconciliation so the gospel can thrive.
